The emulator allows customers to research, develop, and test various aspects of the beam hopping architecture. Advantech Wireless and SatixFy have collaborated to create the new Advantech Wireless C7700 VSAT Router based on SatixFys SX-3000 SoC baseband chip. The router is part of the Advantech Wireless Compact VSAT Series and is optimized for next-generation High-Throughput-Satellite (HTS) systems. It can operate at 500Mbps with a single DVB-S2X carrier of up to 125MHz and 256APSK LDPC coding and modulation. The collaboration allows Advantech Wireless to provide their customers with advanced satellite communication capabilities. SatixFys solution supports DVB-S2X and ensures that todays deployed networks can continue operating on new platforms. The announcement was made at Satellite 2017.

Satellite communications co SatixFy raises $25m
Israeli satellite communications company SatixFy is raising $25 million in a financing round led by Catalyst CEL Fund. The companys technology reduces the cost, size, weight, and power consumption of user-terminals for satellite communications. SatixFy targets markets such as the Internet of Things and M2M applications. The funding will be used for product and silicon design developments and market reach. SatixFy has raised nearly $30 million to date. The Catalyst CEL Fund aims to support the growth of innovative Israeli companies and promote Chinas high-tech industry. The investment highlights the focus on satellite communication in Israels market. SatixFys previous experience in China and partnership with China Everbright Limited will help the company enter the Chinese market.
