Accelerator guides Arab scientists into entrepreneurship - ISRAEL21c
ScienTech, an accelerator for early-stage Arab startups in healthcare, biotech and environmental science, was established by the Galilee Society with funding from the U.S.-Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI). The accelerator, based in northern Israel, is the first of its kind aimed at helping Arab founders turn scientific research knowledge into businesses. The first two cohorts were funded by MEPI, while the third cohort is funded by the Israel Innovation Authority. The accelerator provides training in entrepreneurial thinking and fundraising, along with consulting, mentoring, and exposure to high-tech and healthcare companies.

PresenTense and The Galilee Society launch life science and climatech accelerator for Arab researchers
PresenTense and The Galilee Society are launching ScienTech, a new accelerator focusing on life science and climatech startups. The program is supported by the U.S. Department of States Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) and aims to assist Arab researchers in transforming their scientific knowledge into promising startups. Ten Arab STEM researchers will be accepted into the five-month accelerator program, which will provide entrepreneurial best practices, a professional curriculum, and consultation in raising pre-seed investments.
