Light & Wonder completes acquisition of SciPlay, company to become a fully-owned subsidiary | Yogonet International
Light & Wonder has acquired the remaining 17% equity interest in digital gaming business SciPlay Corporation for approximately $500 million. This all-cash transaction makes Light & Wonder the sole owner of the slot developer. The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2023. Following the acquisition, SciPlay will transition into a wholly-owned subsidiary of Light & Wonder. The decision to pursue this transaction was guided by evaluations conducted by SciPlays independent advisors and directors.

Save & Exit: Israeli startup Come2Play gets bought out by American gaming giant SciPlay
American gaming company SciPlay has acquired Israeli mobile-casual-gaming startup Come2Play. The buyout amount has not been disclosed. SciPlay intends to improve Come2Plays games and bring in more revenue. Come2Plays 10 Israel-based employees will join SciPlays Tel Aviv R&D center, while the rest of the team in the Ukraine office will continue developing and operating Come2Play games. SciPlay raised $352 million in its IPO, but the share price has since declined. The company is actively looking for acquisitions, both in Israel and elsewhere.
