Sense Education, an artificial intelligence solution for personalized feedback in student submissions, was named the worlds best ed-tech startup at South Summits 2018 enlightED competition in Madrid. The system, first deployed at Tel Aviv University and Bar-Ilan University, is now used in many schools in Israel and the US. Sense Education raised its initial capital from angel investors and Jerusalem-based crowdfunding platform OurCrowd. The company also made contact with Spains IE University through OurCrowd Connect, resulting in an invitation to compete in the enlightED competition.
