Sentient Synthetics is an AI-based, digital pathology company leveraging machine learning to create synthetic pathology datasets for the purpose of overcoming existing data limitations in the field of computational pathology. These synthetic datasets are validated, affordable, thoroughly labeled, and free from privacy concerns. They aim to enable faster and more accurate training and validation for highly accurate AI algorithms by medical research centers, digital health, pharmaceutical companies, and diagnostics, for all cancer tissue types, including the rarer forms. Sentient is a Technion spin-off company.

aMoon, Roche pick first two cos for Starfinder Lab program

aMoon fund and Roche Diagnostics have selected two companies for their Starfinder Lab program in the fields of digital pathology and lung cancer diagnosis. The chosen companies are Sentient, which produces synthetic pictures for AI training in digital pathology, and Causalis, which uses AI to predict the best drug treatment for lung cancer patients. The companies will receive $250,000 in finance and access to medical databases and resources. The partnership aims to identify interesting fields and challenges in the healthcare industry and support the development of innovative technologies.
