Exclusively designed with its proprietary, patented EyePoint Technology, a software program that utilizes ray tracing to compute optical properties and simulate human vision, Shamirs product line is distributed through a network of more than 300 Shamir ReCreating Perfect Vision partner optical laboratories. In 2011, Shamir Optical Industry merged with Essilor, and Shamir is now a jointly owned private company.
