she codes; is a vibrant community of female software developers numbering over100,000 members. Its goal is to see 50% female software developers in the high-tech industry within a decade. The group holds events several times a week across Israel during which participants can come and work on a project, learn a new language, hear an inspiring or technical lecture, or learn to code. Some members have vast experience in coding, others none at all, but all are welcome to suggest a project idea, find partners, and receive guidance.

LessTests, a company co-founded by Ruth Polachek, has developed a way to dramatically increase the number of coronavirus tests. The company combines old technology - pooling tests - with algorithms and combinatorics. Pooling is the collection of samples from several people for one test.
