Shield-IoT raises $7.4 million Series A to secure IoT networks

Israeli startup Shield-IoT has closed a $7.4 million Series A funding round led by NextLeap Ventures and Bloc Ventures. The company, founded in 2017, develops solutions for mass-scale IoT and IIoT network cybersecurity and operational monitoring. Shield-IoT aims to provide service providers and IoT brands with a tool to monitor and secure their networks, reduce operational costs, and generate new revenue streams. The platform is currently used across various industries, including telcos, utilities, transportation, manufacturing, smart cities, and government. Akamai Technologies is collaborating with Shield-IoT to enhance cybersecurity and operational monitoring for its IoT solutions.
