The next Waze or Mobileye? Israeli startups that might conquer the world this year
Gartner, a consulting firm, releases its Cool Vendors list which includes innovative startups. The list features 31 Israeli startups out of a total of 269 firms. The criteria for making the list is innovation in technology or business models, with a maximum of less than $100 million in annual revenues. The Cool Vendors list includes companies in both the seed stage and later phases. Israeli cybersecurity firms have a strong presence on the list, along with companies specializing in automotive cybersecurity, privacy, underwriting insurance, and more. The list also includes app companies and companies in the self-driving car industry. Gartner plans to release another Cool Vendors roster later in the year.
