Singit, an educational version of Spotify, was developed by dyslexic entrepreneur, Michael Feld. The app teaches English through music and is currently used by tens of thousands of children in Israel. The inspiration came from Felds father who learned English by listening to music. The app allows students to listen to songs, read the lyrics, and get translations of unfamiliar words. It also includes exercises to help improve pronunciation and vocabulary. Singit is approved by the Ministry of Education for 9th-grade students and is used by about 60,000 students in 800 schools across Israel. The company is planning to expand to Latin America and the private market in Israel.
