The lawsuit details security flaws in SolarWindss access management, password protection, and software development, including with its Orion platform, which was compromised by Russian state hackers. US co SolarWinds buys Israeli startup Samanage for $350m
US software company SolarWinds is acquiring Israeli company Samanage for $350 million cash. This is SolarWinds first acquisition of an Israeli company. Samanage provides a platform for managing information systems on the cloud. The acquisition is expected to close in the second quarter and SolarWinds plans to set up its first development center in Israel based on Samanage. Samanage has raised $69 million and has annual revenue in the tens of millions of dollars. It employs about 200 people split between Israel and the US and Europe.
