8 early-stage Israeli startups chosen for EU grant
Eight early-stage Israeli startups have been awarded grants in the European Commissions SME Instrument Program. Israeli companies won a higher percentage of grants compared to companies from other countries. The grantees specialize in various fields such as environment, alternative energy, communications, nanotech, biotech, and transportation. The grants aim to help small- and medium-sized businesses advance the development of high-potential products. The Israeli winners of €50,000 grants include Access for Life, BreedIT, DryGair Energies, MMA Tech, PowerSines, Solight, TerraGenic, and ThermaSphera. The SME Instrument Program is focused on independent companies with fewer than 250 workers and revenues under €50 million. The program provides funding for innovative companies in various fields, including those that may not receive funding from venture capital funds.
