The company recently raised around $3 million in a seed round from private and angel investors, mostly from the U.S. East Coast. Spectalixs platform allows broadcasters, sports teams, and other content providers to integrate user-generated content into their apps, helping them reclaim their users from platforms like TikTok and Instagram. The company charges a one-time setup fee and a per-clip fee for user-generated content. Spectalix has already had successful pilots with sports teams and broadcasters, mostly in Israel, and a project with Warner Bros. in Italy.
