The partnership aims to improve the lives of people with diabetes by integrating better sensors and offering more effective solutions. STMicroelectronics works closely with various partners in France and currently collaborates with over 200 startups and SMEs. Diabeloop, founded in 2015, focuses on making innovation accessible to people with diabetes and relieving the mental burden associated with the disease.

Israel Innovation Authority signed a collaboration agreement with STMicroelectronics
STMicroelectronics has signed a collaboration agreement with the Israel Innovation Authority to foster collaboration between Israeli technology companies and hardware startups. The agreement is part of the Israel Innovation Authoritys Collaborative Framework with Multinational Corporations program. The ST-Up accelerator program, launched in 2018, aims to help Israeli hardware and semiconductor startups scale up faster. It provides access to STs portfolio of products, technologies, and development tools, as well as resources and strategic partners. The Israel Innovation Authority supports multinationals in identifying Israeli technologies that meet their specific needs. The Authority has already signed collaborative agreements with companies like Intel, Audi, and IBM. The collaboration between STMicroelectronics and the Israel Innovation Authority is expected to drive growth and innovation in the Israeli innovation ecosystem.

STMicroelectronics Launches Israel Startup Accelerator
STMicroelectronics N.V. has launched an Israeli startup accelerator called ST-Up, focused on advanced mobility and IoT. The accelerator will select 3-5 local companies for its 18-month program. The goal of the program is to form long-term collaborations with companies that show significant growth potential. Selected startups will gain access to STMicroelectronics resources, including research and development, manufacturing and testing facilities, and connections to partners of the chip company. STMicroelectronics established an on-ground operation in Israel in 2012 following the acquisition of Btendo Ltd. In 2017, the company reported over $8.3 billion in revenues.
