Starburst Acquires Varada To Deliver The New Standard Of Data Lake Analytics

Starburst, an analytics company, has announced the acquisition of Varada, a data lake analytics accelerator. The acquisition will integrate Varadas proprietary and patented indexing technology into Starbursts query engine, aiming to improve data lake analytics and help organizations derive insights from their data more efficiently. The integration is expected to be available to select customers within the next 30 days, with general availability by fall 2022. The acquisition will also see Varadas engineering and product leadership join the Starburst team.
