The investment fund Fortissimo is transferring ownership of the industrial company Synergy Cables to a variety of businessman Ronen Elad, in exchange for an allocation of 12.5% of its shares - this was announced to Globes. This is more than six years since Fortissimo took over Synergy as part of a debt arrangement. Synergy Cables manufactures and markets power cables for electricity, and operates in the industrial area adjacent to Sderot. The buyer, Variety, is an old company, founded in 1988 and today it deals through its various companies in the distribution of electronic components to thousands of customers from various industries - military, medicine, cleantech and high-tech.
