Technion fosters entrepreneurship within ivory towers as Startup Nation calls

Technion wins NIS 10m grant for entrepreneurship center
The Technion - Israel Institute of Technology has won a NIS 10 million grant from the Council for Higher Education to establish an entrepreneurship and innovation center called t-hub. The grant will enable the Technion to expand its entrepreneurial activities and establish the Technion Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center. The Technion has a history of nurturing entrepreneurial thinking and has produced numerous successful startups. The t-hub center will be headed by Prof. Eyal Zussman and Dr. Dana Sheffer, and will have partnerships with leading industrial and hi-tech companies in Israel.
