British Israel, Tamares merge Israel operations

Real estate tycoons Leo Noe and Pujo Zabludowicz have merged their Israeli real estate operations. British-Israel Investments Ltd. is acquiring Tamares Real Estate Israel Ltd. in a cash and stock agreement. The deal involves British-Israel paying NIS 171 million to Tamares and allocating 16.67% of its shares to Aktive Investment Anstalt. Tamares Israel has the option to buy NIS 20 million worth of British Israel shares. Tamares Israel owns office and commercial space and has 60 tenants. The merger is expected to close in four months.
