"Its about making the world a better place," says multilateral investor in Israels SeeTree

SeeTree, an agtech company providing AI-powered intelligence on trees and tree clusters, has received a lead investment from the International Finance Corporation (IFC). The IFC aims to support SeeTrees expansion into emerging markets, improve yields, reduce operational costs, and conserve water. SeeTrees AI system monitors the health and growth rates of individual trees and produces personalized cultivation plans. The company plans to expand its imaging technology to other crops and geographies. SeeTrees series B funding round raised $30 million, bringing its total funding to $45 million.

Electra, TechForGood to set up innovation project

Electra Consumer Products, an Israeli distributor of retail and electrical consumer products, is partnering with TechForGood to promote startups that aim to improve quality of life. The initiative will focus on fostering startups in the field of energy conservation, the Internet of Things and air conditioning and climate control systems. The initiative will offer qualifying startups mentorships, a place to work in Tel Aviv and access to international companies to test out their developments.
