Israel makes anti-coronavirus mask from ‘biological warfare’ disinfectant
Hadassah-University Medical Center, in partnership with the Israeli Institute for Biological Research and start-up Tera Novel, has developed a mask that is 99.999% effective in protecting wearers from the coronavirus. The mask, which has been approved by the Health Ministry, uses a technology known as GERMS OVER that was originally developed for the IDF to deal with biological warfare. The mask is now available to the public. Another Israeli company, Sonovia, has also developed a mask, the SonoMask, that has shown an ability to neutralize the coronavirus at an effectiveness of 99.34%. Sonovia recently completed its initial public offering, attracting a total of NIS 55.9 million ($20.4 m.) in investments.

Israeli companies to manufacture anti-coronavirus construction materials
Tera Novel has signed an exclusive strategic cooperation agreement with Tambour, a leading paint and construction material manufacturer in Israel. The partnership aims to produce and market products containing Tera Novels patented antibacterial additive that neutralizes viral compounds such as the coronavirus. The additive, called Germs Over, will be integrated with various construction materials already marketed and manufactured by Tambour. The antibacterial products will be marketed to hospitals, clinics, and health centers. The companies are in advanced discussions with the Health Ministry and various healthcare institutions to introduce their products.

India to use Israeli solution to safeguard public places in its fight against COVID-19: Report
India will use an antiseptic disinfectant developed by the Israel Institute for Biological Research (IIBR) and distributed by Tera Novel to protect public places against the coronavirus. The solution has been found to disinfect surfaces of bacteria, viruses, molds, and fungi, and remains active for a long time. Tera Novel will transfer the solution to its Indian distributor, Zhiva Innovations Biotech. The technology has undergone successful trials in Israel and is now being used to prevent the spread and infection of the new coronavirus in public institutions. Tera Novel CEO, Keren Cohen Hazon, expressed confidence that the technology will assist India in the fight against the coronavirus.

Israeli disinfectant kills 100% of viruses, bacteria
The Israel Institute for Biological Research has developed a disinfectant that kills 100% of bacteria and viruses, including the novel coronavirus. The disinfectant is being distributed by Tera Novel and is currently being used in mikvehs in Bnei Brak, an ultra-Orthodox city in Israel that was severely hit by the virus. The disinfectant was originally developed for and used by the IDF and Israels security forces, and was later transferred for use by the US army. Tera Novel plans to continue providing the disinfectant to other organizations in the public arena.
