Tessa Dairy Machinery Overview

Tessa Dairy Machinery designs and manufactures a variety of custom-made processing plants for facilities ranging in scale from small dairy farms to large cooperative dairy plants. Fresh milk, milk powder, and skimmed milk can all be processed on Tessas mini-dairy lines, which are designed to transform raw materials into products such as pasteurized milk, yogurt, cream, sour cream, cottage cheese, and butter. The lines are fully equipped with everything needed for a full production cycle, including equipment for receiving and cooling milk, pasteurization, separation, fermentation, and packing finished products. The lines also include all necessary auxiliary units and equipment such as pumps, filters, pipes and valves, and communication and interface components. Tessa also makes canning lines, automatic lines that manufacture and package fruit juice, and machinery that can process fruits and vegetables into food items such as jams and mashed potatoes.

Mini Dairy at Virginia Tech from Israel-based TESSA industries will boost boutique fermentation industry

Virginia Tech has entered into an agreement with TESSA Dairy Machinery to bring the Mini Dairy to the universitys pilot plant. This collaboration will help the dairy fermentation industry grow and promote industry collaboration. The Mini Dairy will be housed in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Human and Agricultural Biosciences Building 1 and will focus on helping grow the field of dairy fermentation. The equipment will be available for businesses to develop new products and prepare them for market. The Mini Dairy is expected to be delivered in November 2016.
