Sexing chicks in the shell;making science fun for girls

MassChallenge Israel held its inaugural awards ceremony for its first startup accelerator cohort. Ten finalists presented their startups, with two receiving cash prizes of ₪300,000 and three receiving ₪125,000. The winners included EggXYt, which developed a technology to determine the gender of chicken embryos, and StellarNova, a startup focused on encouraging girls engagement with science. MassChallenge Israel has been incubating 48 startups since July, and the organization is part of the larger MassChallenge network, which runs accelerator programs in multiple cities worldwide.
