Pet healthcare platform The Vets raises $40 million in Seed funding
Israeli startup The Vets, which provides veterinary services in the U.S., has raised a $40 million Seed funding round. The company offers in-home pet care with full diagnostics, including blood workup and capturing vitals. The funding round was led by Target Global, PICO Venture Partners, and Bolt Ventures. The Vets has served over 7,000 pets since its inception in early 2021 and plans to expand to 25 cities by the end of 2022. The company was founded by CEO Daniel Sagis in cooperation with Target Global, and it currently employs 130 people. The Vets aims to address the flaws in the pet care industry and build a consumer brand that brings value to veterinarians and pet owners.
