Israel's Tictuk acquired by Yum! Brands, owner of KFC, Pizza Hut, and Taco Bell
Yum! Brands, Inc. has acquired Israeli omnichannel ordering and marketing platform company Tictuk Technologies. The acquisition is expected to help accelerate Yum! Brands ability to grow digital sales globally. Tictuks technology allows users to complete orders and interact with brands through various social media and chat channels. Yum! Brands has already deployed Tictuks platform in approximately 900 restaurants outside the U.S. and plans to scale it further. In 2020, Yum! Brands digital sales reached a record of $17 billion. The acquisition price was not disclosed.
