Interview: Tritone on its MoldJet technology and DOMINANT 3D printing platform
Israel-based additive manufacturing company Tritone has introduced its DOMINANT platform at Formnext 2019. The DOMINANT is a new powderless AM system called MoldJet, which leverages ink jetting to produce high-resolution parts in a range of metal alloys at industrial speed. The machine prints the mould rather than the part itself, allowing for continuous production. Tritone, backed by Fortissimo Capital Fund, aims to target industrial additive manufacturing across various industries. The company is working on installing the machines with early stage partners in Europe and Israel, with a commercial launch expected later this year.

Tritone to unveil metal additive manufacturing system at Formnext
Tritone Technologies, an additive manufacturing newcomer, has announced the launch of its Tritone DOMINANT metal 3D printing system. The companys technology aims to accelerate the shift from prototyping to mass production for metal printed parts with fine details and high surface finish. Tritone promises a wide choice of materials, throughput in excess of 1000 cc/hr, a powderless environment, and real-time verification and quality control of each layer. The company will showcase its machine at the Formnext event in Frankfurt.
