Truecaller acquires Israeli phone call verification tool CallHero for $6.5 million

Truecaller has acquired Israeli company CallHero for $6.5 million in cash and stock. CallHeros headquarters in Israel will be transformed into Truecallers local cloud telephony department and R&D center. The acquisition will expand Truecallers offering and tools to its 300 million users. CallHero provides a solution for Android and iPhone that helps users verify and answer calls with the help of a smart digital assistant. Truecaller is a platform that helps verify contacts and block unwanted telephone communications. CallHero will be incorporated into Truecallers premium features.
