U-ComposTech is developing a holistic composting system that enables all excess domestic organic material to be dry composted with minimal water use and zero waste. The companys mission is to scale its technology for use in large communities in order to replace current septic systems with a sustainable, economical, and eco-friendly alternative. By using domestic organic matter, humanure, and shredded plant matter, U-ComposTech can lower domestic water consumption, lessen soil and groundwater pollution, and reduce the infrastructure and maintenance costs of septic systems, all while transforming organic matter into a valuable fertilizer.
