UG Labs raises $7M to infuse conversational AI into games for kids
UG Labs, a Tel Aviv-based company, has raised $7 million in a funding round led by Amiti Venture and MoreVC, with participation from Mediatek and private angels. The company uses conversational AI and voice interactivity in games for children. The technology, embedded in UG’s game engine, allows open-ended conversations that dynamically affect gameplay. The company was founded in 2022 by CEO Ariel Leventhal and CTO Shachar Mendelowitz with the aim of injecting original, unscripted, and age-appropriate conversation and personality into games.
