Israel to get Backtrail tank trailers

Urdan Metal & Casting Industries is supplying Backtrail transport trailer systems to the Israel Defence Forces (IDF). The company has already started delivering the trailers, and deliveries are expected to continue over the next few years. The transport trailer is designed to be attached to the Main Battle Tank (MBT) and can carry up to eight tons of cargo. The IDF conducted tests on the Backtrail to assess its impact on the tanks manoeuvrability. The trailer can carry various supplies and can also serve as a field emergency room.
