Lake Nonas Wellness Home Built on Innovation and Technology (WHIT) and Welltech Ventures have announced a global competition to discover innovative technologies that address major challenges in wellness. The competition invites entrepreneurs and companies dedicated to creating health and wellness solutions to participate. The submissions will be evaluated by a panel of international CEOs and business leaders from the wellness and technology sectors. The winner will be announced in a news release following a virtual demo day scheduled for November 13, 2023, and will receive a prize of $10,000.

Welltech1 announces $400,000 investment in winner of global wellness startup competition
Welltech1, an Israeli venture capital firm and tech hub, has invested $400,000 in PopBase, a startup that won Welltech1s international startup competition. PopBase has developed a technology platform called Woodland Fables, which teaches and encourages children to adopt a healthy way of life through immersive and interactive stories. The platform will launch in autumn 2021 as a monthly subscription service. Welltech1 was impressed by PopBase and decided to double its initial investment pledge.
