EPAM acquires Israeli cybersecurity co White-Hat
EPAM Services Inc. is acquiring Israeli cybersecurity company White-Hat for approximately $50 million in cash and shares. White-Hat, founded in 2013, specializes in managing high-profile cybersecurity crises and has 65 employees in Tel Aviv. The acquisition will allow EPAM to enhance its offensive security approaches and offer innovative solutions to its customers. White-Hats expertise in incident response and threat hunting will contribute to EPAMs goal of designing cybersecurity into applications at agile speed and cloud scale. The acquisition is led by EPAMs chairman Sharon Nimirovski and CEO Ofer Levinger, who will continue to lead the company after the acquisition.
