500 Startups is launching a four-week program in Israel to train pre-seed and seed companies in marketing and growth. The program aims to attract startups looking to quickly build a large customer base for their products. 500 Startups will take 1 percent of the company for $25,000 earmarked for marketing experiments. The first batch of startups includes Wizer, Distribyte, CybeReady, Ubeya, ONDiGO, Udobu, MuvingApp, GreenQ, and Market Beyond.

Israeli female entrepreneurs visit Silicon Valley
Twenty Israeli women entrepreneurs have been selected to take part in a project by We Act, an organisation designed to promote entrepreneurship by women. The women, who have already raised millions of dollars for their ventures, were flown to Silicon Valley to share insights about founding and managing a technology venture. The entrepreneurs include Lital Leshem, co-founder of Reporty Homeland Security, Orly Shoavi, founder of SafeDK, Hila Goldman-Aslan, founder of DiACardio, Smadar Landau, founder of Feelter, Iris Tsidon, co-founder of Okapi, Eynat Guez, co-founder of Papaya Global, and Ornit Dweck-Maizel, co-founder of Sunbit.
