Zoglos, a food manufacturer, has started marketing alternative meat products developed by the startup Wonders. The products aim to penetrate the market of alternative meat substitutes, competing with brands like Beyond Meat and Nestles vegan burger. Zoglos already sells its own line of alternative meat products under the brand Zoglos, and now seeks to expand its offerings to target not only the vegan market but also consumers who incorporate both meat and meat substitutes in their diet. The new Wonders series includes burgers, kebabs, and other products, priced at around 35 shekels per package. Zoglos estimates that the Wonders series can capture 30-40% of the 450 million shekel market. The products are currently manufactured in Israel, but the company plans to export them to the US market by the end of 2021.
