Smart water stations from Israel make a splash in US
Woosh Water Systems, a company based in Tel Aviv, is targeting the United States market with its smart water stations. These touch-screen stations allow users to clean and fill reusable bottles with purified, chilled water at a fraction of the cost of bottled water. Woosh has installed three stations at Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio, and plans to install more in state-run nature parks in the area. The company has also signed a large-scale project for Miami Beach, with 25 outdoor smart water stations set to launch in early 2017. Woosh has partnered with Smart Water Stations USA and the Dayton Region Israel Trade Alliance to facilitate these installations. Woosh aims to provide its smart water stations throughout the United States and eventually expand to other countries.
