The Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) and TAU Ventures have announced the launch of the third cohort of their accelerator program, Xcelerator. The new cohort will host six startups in fields including speech recognition, real-time video analysis, and cybersecurity. The Shin Bet will grant $50,000 to participating startups without acquiring equity. Since its launch in July 2018, 15 startups have participated in the program. TAU Ventures is the venture arm of Tel Aviv University.

ISA and TAU Ventures launch startup accelerator
The Israel Security Authority (ISA) and TAU Ventures have announced the launching of a startup accelerator in Israel. The program, called The Xcelerator, will focus on early-stage entrepreneurs working in AI, primarily natural-language processing (NLP) technologies, robotics, and data science. The first group of startups will begin in June and will receive a $50,000 grant from the ISA. The startups will also benefit from office spaces, support from content and tech experts, and mentoring from professionals in the industry.
