Zedge acquires GuruShots for $34.8M (NYSE:ZDGE)

Zedge has acquired Israel-based GuruShots, a company that combines photography with mobile gaming, for a total of $34.8M. GuruShots generates revenue from selling packages of extra abilities via in-app purchases. This acquisition will allow Zedge to incorporate gamification across its portfolio of Creator Economy Apps. It will also bring new creators into Zedges premium marketplace and help scale NFTs Made Easy. The transaction is expected to accelerate Zedges revenue growth with associated investment in user acquisition.
