Dell EMC (formerly EMC corporation), a subsidiary of Dell Technologies Inc, sells data storage, information security, virtualization, analytics, cloud computing and other products and services that enable organizations to store, manage, protect, and analyze data. In 2005, RSA Security acquired the Israeli company Cyota, a leading player in the anti-fraud space, to become RSA Israel. With the acquisition of RSA by EMC in 2006, RSA Israel became part of the security division of EMC, now operating as the EMC Israel Center of Excellence. The center is one of eight international EMC sites that drive innovation in a dynamic, challenging, and forward-thinking environment. Dell EMC's operations in Israel are spread over four sites (in Beersheva, Herzliya, Glil Yam, and Haifa), and involve development, sales, and services. The company has an array of business partners in the enterprise, business, and consumer markets. The development center in Israel specializes in advanced storage technologies (flash storage), duplication and retrieval of highly available information, cybersecurity, big data, cloud computing, and data science. A cybersecurity solutions division is active in the development center in Israel at the Herzliya and Beersheva sites, providing cybersecurity solutions based on development in Israel integrated with Dell-EMC's portfolio solutions. Dell EMC has a history of acquiring technology startups in Israel and merging them with its development center.
