What does Sterisent do?
Sterisent manufactures and sells a general sanitizer based on a simple electrolysis process in which an electric charge is used to rupture a pathogens cell, killing it in seconds and eliminating any chance of pathogen resistance. Sterisents General Sanitizer kills viruses, bacteria, mold, and fungi through a variety of dispersal methods, including sprays, fogging, and ultrasonic evaporation on surfaces, open spaces, and equipment. The device is completely safe for use without personal protection equipment (PPE); however, because sanitizing occurs in contaminated areas, PPE must be used in compliance with regulations. In addition, patients do not need to be removed from their rooms during sanitization. The device uses 100% natural ingredients and does not require surfaces to be wiped, rinsed, or dried after application, thereby reducing staff labor, risk to patients, and operating costs. Produced in Israel, Sterisents General Sanitizer has been approved as a medical device by the Israeli Ministry of Health.
