Auto Cool manufactures customized air conditioning (AC) systems for commercial vehicles and trucks. It develops, installs, and services all of its systems in house. In addition, Auto Cool develops and produces special AC systems for aviation and marine applications. Auto Cool manufactures electrically operated automatic sliding, front pivoting, and tailgate doors. Auto Cool also manufactures retractable steps for vans and minibuses. It manufactures vacuum forming and fiberglass products used in commercial vehicles and buses, as well. All of the company's products comply with the requirements of the Israeli and European Standards, ISO 9001, IQ Net, the Electromagnetic Compatibility Directives of VCA (e-mark certificate), and TUV Germany. Auto Cool's customers include Mercedes, Volkswagen, Renault, Ford, GMC, Toyota, Peugeot, Citroen, Fiat, Nissan, Hyundai, Land Rover, DAF, MAN, Kia, and IVECO.

Metro Kav, a public transportation company, will collaborate with Auto-Cool air conditioning systems to minimize the exposure of COVID-19 among passengers. Metro Kav will install Auto-Cools advanced disinfection system in 60 of its vehicles operating in Tel Aviv, Bat Yam, Holon, and Rishon Lezion. The disinfection system can neutralize viruses and bacteria, including COVID-19, in the air conditioning ducts and the vehicle itself. The collaboration aims to provide assurance to both the operators and the traveling public. The cost of the system and its maintenance are minor compared to the benefits it provides. The disinfection system has been certified to be 100% efficient in disinfection by external laboratory tests conducted by Bactochem.

Metro Kav to apply disinfection technology on its taxi fleets

Israeli taxi company Metro Kav has won a tender from the Israeli Ministry of Transportation to operate its taxi fleet with a unique air filtration system to minimize exposure to coronavirus pathogens. The company developed smart filters that can be placed into existing vehicular air conditioners, with a smart algorithm that alerts the driver when the filter needs to be replaced. The system has shown 100% efficiency in removing coronavirus pathogens and other bacteria from the air. Metro Kav plans to deploy the system on shared taxis in central Israel.
