Bruker buys Jordan Valley Semiconductors for $53m
Jordan Valley Semiconductors, a veteran company providing measuring solutions for controlling production processes in the microelectronics industry, has been acquired by US company Bruker Corp. for $53 million. The deal includes a $30 million sale price, plus the balance of Jordan Valley Semiconductors cash, as well as $15 million in contingent payments. Elron Electronic Industries, which holds 19% of Jordan Valley Semiconductors shares, will receive $12 million immediately in the deal.
