CA Technologies buys Israeli co IdMlogic

Software giant CA Technologies has acquired Israeli company IdMlogic for an estimated $20 million. This is CAs twelfth Israeli acquisition. IdMlogic develops intelligent identity management applications and provides the front-end application for CA Identity Suite. All IdMlogic employees have joined CA. The acquisition comes after CA Technologies closed its commercial operations in Israel and fired dozens of employees.

CA buys role management co Eurekify

CA Inc. is acquiring Israeli identity and role management solutions developer Eurekify Ltd. for an estimated price tag of $30-40 million. The deal is expected to close by the end of the month, with Eurekifys operations being integrated into CAs business. Eurekify specializes in identity and access management (IAM) and enterprise resource management (ERM). The acquisition will allow CA to expand its offerings in these areas and target large enterprises. Eurekify has received investment from Peregrine Ventures. This is CAs fourth acquisition of an Israeli company and its eighth acquisition of a company with activity in Israel.

CA shopping for Israeli data security cos

Computer Associates SVP Ron Moritz visited Israel in search of new data security technologies to acquire. The company is experiencing growth in its data security division and is actively seeking acquisitions. Moritz has already met with six Israeli companies during his visit. The company is looking for technologies that can complement their existing offerings and can work in all computer languages. The CEO has mentioned that this is the time for small deals, but there is no specific allocation or limit on the amount they are willing to pay for acquisitions.
