Emotiplay, an Israeli company, is using technology to teach people with autism to recognize social and emotional cues. Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) affects approximately 1.5% of the world population and creates difficulties in identifying emotions and interpreting social cues. Emotiplay aims to provide accessible and affordable technology to help individuals with autism learn to recognize and act on emotional and social cues. The company has received seed funding of $1 million from private investors and the Israel Innovation Authority. They have also partnered with autism associations and experts in the field to promote their products. OneHope, My Healthy Church Introduce Digitally Enhanced Children's Ministry Tool
OneHope has launched Incredible Islands, a digital ministry tool designed to help churches engage children with Scripture and biblical principles. The tool aims to extend the impact of on-site programming by providing resources for children to explore and learn about Gods Word throughout the week. OneHope has partnered with My Healthy Church, who will serve as the exclusive distributor of Incredible Islands in the U.S. church market. The virtual world created by Compedia, the developers of Bob the Builder and other edutainment brands, allows children to earn coins by playing games and completing weekly church-assigned missions. Pastors and parents can monitor the childrens progress and customize certain elements of the game. A Spanish version is expected to be released soon.
