EMC to open R&D center in Beersheba

Israeli start-up Cyota sold to RSA Security for $145m
RSA Security has acquired Cyota, a developer of security solutions against identity theft, for $145 million, including $136 million in cash. Cyota, which has raised $30 million in funding, sells long-term service contracts to banks and financial institutions. The acquisition is expected to have a positive impact on Cyotas growth. RSA Security, with a market cap of $936 million, is known for its digital protection solutions and is considered a competitor of Aladdin Knowledge Systems Ltd.
