HYPE Capital is a sports-tech dedicated fund. HYPE Capital aims to leverage its unique access to hundreds of startups and leading stakeholders worldwide, in order to make early-stage investments in selected sports startups. HYPE Capital compliments HYPEs global innovation competition as it invests in innovative startups in the world of sports, in order to ensure smart investments in companies that can potentially make a big change in the world of sports. HYPE Capital will focus on companies developing technologies in the fields of broadcast, e-sports, smart stadiums, audience engagement, gambling, and achievement analysis. Founded in 2015, HYPE Sports Innovation is a global eco-system for sports innovation with more than 40,000 key industry members. It operates 12 accelerators worldwide. Each accelerator focuses on a single industry vertical, such as blockchain and audience engagement.

Former Reebok, Adidas Execs Partner With Israeli Sports Accelerator to Launch $75 Million Sport Tech Fund

Former Reebok president Uli Becker and former Adidas CMO Bernd Wahler have partnered with venture capitalist Amir Raveh to launch HYPE Capital, a $75 million fund dedicated to sport tech startups. HYPE Capital will focus on companies developing technologies in the fields of broadcast, e-sports, smart stadiums, audience engagement, gambling, and achievement analysis. The fund is in the process of making its first three investments, one of which is in an Israeli company. HYPE operates 12 accelerators worldwide, with 140 companies having graduated from its program to date.
