Israeli startup Octo AI is using artificial intelligence (AI) to improve customer service chatbots. The companys AI agents can connect to an organizations CRM systems, databases, and help sections to gather relevant information, including historical data on the customer and past customer service interactions. This allows the bots to make informed decisions during a conversation, such as issuing a refund if necessary. Octo AI claims it can resolve 70% of customer service inquiries without human intervention. The startup was the only Israeli company accepted into the prestigious Y Combinator accelerator.
