Phoebus Energy to cut Fattal Hotels costs
Israeli energy startup Phoebus Energy has signed an agreement with Fattal Hotels to install a smart energy-saving system in nine hotels in Israel. The system, developed by Phoebus Energy, will save 50-75% on heating and air-conditioning costs and reduce pollution. The Fattal chain is expected to save NIS 40 million over the next decade. The system is controlled by cloud computing software and is currently being piloted at a large international hotel chain in Spain. Phoebus Energy has received investments totaling $7 million to date, including from Terra Venture Partners.
