SICK's sensors and application solutions for industrial use facilitate reliable and efficient control of processes, protecting people from accidents and preventing environmental damage. SICK Sensors Israel (SIL) was founded in 2006. The Company is located in Tzur Yigal Industrial Park and has 29 employees. SIL offers a range of comprehensive solutions & consulting, starting from the characterizing and planning of products and projects to final installation of the products and solutions at the client's plant. SICK Israel also has an R&D and production department for capacitive encoders as a result of the 2006 acquisition of Netzer Precision Motion Sensors, a manufacturer and supplier of high-quality performance position encoders. Netzer continues to develop its Electric Encoder proprietary technology, which has a broad range of applications such as defense, homeland security, aerospace, and instrumentation motion control requirements.
