Treeverse is the developer of lakeFS, an open-source platform delivering resilience and manageability to object-storage-based data lakes. With lakeFS, users can build repeatable, atomic, and versioned data lake operations ranging from complex ETL jobs to data science and analytics. lakeFS supports Amazon Web Services S3 and Google Cloud Storage as an underlying storage service. It is API compatible with S3 and works seamlessly with all modern data frameworks such as Spark, Hive, AWS Athena, and Presto.

LakeFS has announced the general availability of their service, LakeFS Cloud, which offers the opportunity to create and track different versions of data, similar to how developers organize code using Git. The service sits on top of the data lake and provides a consistent interface for managing data.
