Israeli company gets $1M to expand here - Jewish Press of Tampa
Israeli medical device company UC-Care has received a $1 million investment from Florida Funders to support its operations in Florida. UC-Care offers medical devices for prostate cancer diagnosis and treatment, and its products have been approved by the FDA. The investment was facilitated through a joint venture between UC-Care and Florida Funders, a crowd funding and venture capital platform. The Florida-Israel Business Accelerator (FIBA) played a role in introducing UC-Care to the Florida market and connecting them with potential customers. FIBA has brought a total of 27 Israeli companies to Tampa since 2017.
