InnoBev Ltd. has received a U.S. patent for its plant-based alertness formula, WakeUp! The formula is designed to counteract fatigue and improve well-being. The patent comes at a time when energy drinks are facing scrutiny, and major beverage brands are investing in healthy beverages. Clinical research studies have shown that WakeUp can improve vigilance, focus, and work performance without the side effects of caffeine. InnoBev is conducting additional research on WakeUp and plans to launch it in the U.S. and elsewhere based on the milestones achieved and new research in the pipeline.

WakeUp wins 'Best Functional Drink' award
Israeli startup Inno-Bev has developed a science-based, all-natural post lunch waker called WakeUp, which was awarded the Best Functional Drink in its category. The 100 ml lemongrass-flavored beverage is designed to combat fatigue during the post-lunch period. WakeUp is the result of four years of research, including three clinical studies, and has already been sold successfully to multinational high-tech companies.
